Rural Health International Non-Profit Organization (RHINO) is a 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID: 27-1054022) that was established in September 2009 by a group of Wayne State University students. The idea for RHINO was inspired by the lack of adequate healthcare services for the poor in villages in rural India.

The objectives of RHINO are:

RHINO has partnered with an Indian Non-Profit organization called Sacred Trust. RHINO and Sacred Trust have collaborated to provide basic healthcare services through the use of a mobile clinic in South India. The mobile clinic will be donated by Seshagiri Muthya, a philanthropist and Trustee of Sacred Trust. In the long term, RHINO will expand to other developing countries.
